    Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du MAroc

    “The rally, the field of expression of modern women”

    The Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc since its creation is a unique concept of motor racing: no speed, no GPS but old-fashioned navigation, only off-track for a return to the roots of adventure.

    The participants, called “the Gazelles“, must reach several check-points by covering the shortest distance:

    • Where the true values of tolerance, solidarity and perseverance emerge
    • Where respect for the country crossed is a priority thanks to the actions of the rally association, Coeur de Gazelles
    • Where respect for the environment is assured, the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles is the only rally-raid in the world to be ISO 14001 certified.

    100% female

    Since 1990, it has brought together women from all backgrounds aged 18 to 71 in the Moroccan desert.

    The Gazelles are women, committed women, united women, modern women.

    Off-track rally

    Without speed criteria: rally several mandatory checkpoints by making the shortest distance.

    An orientation course.

    Since 2010: it is the only automotive sporting event in the world committed and ISO 14001 certified.

    An engineer in cancer research (immuno-oncology), Norman’s origin and living in Zurich for 5 years, I have never been afraid of new challenges! When Lauren told me about this project neither one nor two I said yes! Who wouldn’t want to get in on such a project? the project of a lifetime! 

    This rally represents in my eyes invaluable values ​​such as friendship, solidarity, perseverance, adaptation, surpassing oneself, challenge! Values ​​that Lauren and I share on a daily basis.

    Lauren, or “Lau” for those close to me, I like to challenge myselt and participate in projects with strong human values!
    Communication manager, I have been living since 2015 in the beautiful city of Lyon.
    How can I describe myself? My friends will say that I am smiling, unifying and attentive, my family will say that I am responsible and autonomous, I like to think that I am a woman with the ambition to achieve all these dreams for to be fulfilled.
    Participating in the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles is part of my Bucket List of life!
